Biography

Steven R. Burlingham has had the pleasure of serving the greater Sacramento area for more than 40 years as an attorney and advocate. Mr. Burlingham has worked for Gary, Till & Burlingham since 1982 and became a managing partner soon after. Mr. Burlingham received his degree in History from Biola University and graduated summa cum laude. Mr. Burlingham also earned his juris doctor from McGeorge School of Law in 1979 and an LLM (taxation) in 1982. He has lived and practiced in the greater Sacramento area since 1979.

Mr. Burlingham practices primarily in divorce and adoption law and is certified by the California State Bar as a Certified Family Law Specialist. He also works extensively in trusts, probate, trust administration, conservatorship and guardianship law. Mr. Burlingham seeks to assist his clients in finding comprehensive and effective solutions for their family law, divorce, adoption and trust and estate planning matters. Mr. Burlingham prioritizes understanding his clients' personal situations and tailoring solutions to fit their best interests. Mr. Burlingham is uniquely qualified to help you negotiate, mediate or litigate your family law or estate planning matter in a manner that best fits your needs and goals.

When Mr. Burlingham is not actively working on his cases or managing the firm, he is spending time with his wife, adult children and his grandchildren. Mr. Burlingham teaches at his church and is President of the Sacramento Chapter of the Christian Legal Society. He also enjoys reading a good book, hiking, running and bird-watching.
